It has been hard and still is for all of us especially my husband. My daughter Jade wants another dog and so do I. Our condo allows pets up to 30 pounds, and Joe has sent me pictures of some wonderful dogs. We can't afford the deposit fee or adoption fee at this time, not to mention my husband is wanting to wait a little longer. I can't wait until we can adopt a new friend as what happened to Niko makes us all feel empty inside. Sharing my story has not been easy, but the support I have received is helping me cope and motivating me to seek justice for Niko and all the other animals who suffered as well.
